Darkyn Revolve

Based on the Darkyn Series by Lynn Viehl

This day and age it seems like something is always going wrong. People are being murdered, houses broken into, and drugs dealt. But what the human race doesn’t know is that there is another breed dwelling among them. Secrets even deeper reveal that a prestige group is seeking to destroy this other breed, before they destroy all of humanity.

Said to have once been church Templars, the Darkyn, are those who have died and rose; damned to live on earth without the hopes of death. Reaching nearly seven hundred years of age, the vampires, better known as Vrykolakas, attempt to do their best to both feed themselves as well as thrive in a modern day world of humans.

Meanwhile, Alexandra Keller, worlds fastest reconstructive surgeon, has been kidnapped to furnish the face of a once gorgeous Michael Cyprien. Puzzled by how she has survived from receiving darkyn blood, Alexandra has become the first of her kind in nearly four hundred years. Thierry Durand, crazed and delusional has escaped out into the wilderness of Chicago as Cyprien prizes his new title of overruling the Jardins of the Americans. Troubles rage on between Richard and Lucan and the world is a mess.

The Brethren, now aware of Alexandra’s transformation, are determined to turn John Keller into a murderous killer of their own. Believing that the Vrykolakas are demons of satan, they Brethren themselves hold their own nasty tales. Torturing, starving, and beating those ‘trainees’, they stop at nothing in attempts to extinguish those that remain of the Darkyn. And yet, they have one who works for them.

What will become of these souls and those innocent enough to be drawn in by l’attrait? Will you survive or succumb to temptation?
